Found Mr Masterson through a friend who had a hip replacement. I needed the same and finding him was my lucky day. I loved my previous active and physical life which was slowly but surely ebbing away. After a thorough review and diagnosis it was agreed between myself and Mr Masterson that a full hip replacement was needed. The operation was undertaken and was a great success. I am now 10 months post operative and back to paddle boarding, kayaking, walking, Pilates, swimming and even the rapids at Centre Parcs with my Grandchildren. Life is good. Thank you Mr. Masterson

A massive thank you to Mr. Masterson for great care and attention while being a patient at Hartswood Hospital in Brentwood. I was well informed about my operation on my hip in September and received great care both from Mr.Masterson and all the ward staff and physio staff. Before selecting Mr Masterson to carry out a total hip replacement I researched several other surgeons CV's. and was impressed with his various experiences at different hospitals. I was impressed with him on our first meeting as he was a good listener and gave honest answers to my queries. I have been very satisfied with the operation and the follow up appointments with both Mr Masterson and the physio allocated to me. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone requiring this kind of surgery.

I had knee surgery via arthroscopy. Mr Masterson gave me a clear explanation of what he could do before surgery, and after surgery, he detailed exactly what had been done. My recovery was faster than I expected, I didn't need pain killers after the first day and infact had very little pain. I was able to get back to normal living within a few weeks. Excellent treatment by all at Spire Hartswood would thoroughly recommend .
